A Bouquet for the Wedding Rehearsal

We have a Smock and Bella Figura Wedding Trunk Show coming up on February 8th and 9th. To start getting ready for the show, we dressed up our front window with Smock wedding invitations and paper flowers made from Smock wrapping paper. Our creative team member, Carla, loved making the individual flowers and then experimented with adding stems to turn them into bouquets.
One creative idea leads to another and we came up with this one:
Save some of the pretty wrapping papers on gifts at bridal showers and make a bouquet of paper flowers to carry at the wedding rehearsal. Much prettier than making one out of a paper plate and bows and ribbons.
Here is a tutorial that shows how easy it is to make paper flowers. Carla folded strips of paper into stems and then hotglued the flower to the stem. Eight-ten flowers make a nice rounded bouquet.
